OUTFIT: Show Me Again the Power of the Darkness

March 08, 2016Saskia C.

Deep inside of me lives a fashion queen who accessorizes properly and whose eyeliner never is uneven. Sadly she's no match for the 99% of me consisting of couch potato. Fashion-wise that means that most days, I can't be arsed to wake up early to dress up and do my makeup. That's why my favourite outfits are those that keep me warm and comfy without revealing the fact that I haven't showered in two weeks and am slowly giving up personhood to become a full time cat.

Poncho: Esprit (via Asos) - Trousers: Mango - Longsleeve: Zeeman - Boots: Doc. Martens
What I'm really trying to say here is: I fucking love poncho's. Seriously. I love them so much. I'd live in them if I could. They're like wearable blankets. I could not be wearing a bra and people wouldn't even know. They'd just be in awe of how stylish I was looking in my fancy poncho. They'd never even know. Poncho's are fucking magical.

This outfit is perfect for my new favourite pastime: playing Star Wars: The Old Republic non-stop, only going outside for the job I need to uphold my subscriber status and maybe for buying food and energy drinks at the supermarket because apparently the Force is not actually a nutrient? I don't know, I'm confused, too.

Do any of you own any sneaky comfy outfits or do you have no issues facing the outside world in your pyjamas? I wish I was brave enough to leave the house in my sweatpants but I'm not quite there yet. Don't worry, I'll get there.

  1. I'll tell you what: I have very comfy, fleece lined trousers but I prefer wearing long skirts. Do you know what I do when it's cold? I put the trousers on and add a long flared skirt over it and nobody knows. Well except you and your readers now. LOL

    1. Thats actually a pretty great idea. I use to wear skirts in winter, but I mostly layer tights or leggings under them. And sometimes it´s really warm, but not very comfortable. :D (too tight! :D)

  2. you still look pretty chic for a comfort look! I've been wanting a sweater like that. my look isn't too much different...I've got slouchy sweater dresses that I wear over fleece leggings for the winter. In the summer, I've got rompers. lol onesies and rompers are my ultimate dgaf outfits
