As you may have gathered from some of my older posts, I'm not someone who easily sticks to beauty routines. My skin doesn't usually need a lot of pampering anyway, so I consider most beauty products luxury items. Sadly, this winter has been particularly hard on my skin, lips and hands so a small trip to L'Occitane and Lush was in order. Thank god for silver lining.
At L'Occitane I tried about fifteen different kinds of hand cream and decided on lavender and honey as my two favourite scents. The fact that I got a toner for free is pretty exciting since I have never used one in my life. At Lush I got the Popcorn lip scrub and the Ocean Salt face and body scrub. Since I'd also brought in five empty pots, I got a Cupcake face mask for free. Take that, skin!
Even though I have been able to scratch all of these products from my wishlist, I just can't help but keep adding Lush items to it. I'm especially anxious to try the Rub Rub Rub scrub, Shine So Bright cream, and I'm out of my trusty Vanishing Cream so that's going on the list as well. Unlike most people, I'm not overly fond of Lush's bath bombs though. I can't help but feel like I'm dissolving literal money into water.
Do you change your beauty routine in winter? What products and brands do you tend to rely on? I've gone through three different lip balms in the past three months, and no, for once I'm not exaggerating. Labels: beauty, haul
