OUTFIT: Zombie Unicorns

July 04, 2012Saskia C.

Sorry for not posting for such a long time, but I've been incredibly busy. First I had to take exams; most of them went pretty well, there was one that seemed like a complete disaster though. However, the professor is told to be very mild in his grading, so we'll see.
Then the day of my last exam was also the first of the four-day music festival Rock Werchter (where I saw The Cure, among lots of others). I hope I'll get round to posting some photos soon, as I've only got one week of free time: I'm leaving for France on Sunday and will be gone for a week.

Anyway, I had ordered Hell Bunny's Zombie Unicorn dress (which I've wanted for ages) a couple days before we left for Werchter. On the first day, my mum texted me that a package for me had arrived, so I had to be patient for four more days before I could finally try it on. Naturally I pretty much ripped the package apart as soon as I got home.
Today was a particularly sunny day and I was spending the afternoon in town with Joshua, so I saw an excellent opportunity to take some pictures of my new favourite dress. Outfit pictures are so much better if someone else takes them.

Before you ask, yes, it was indeed way too hot to be wearing a shrug, but my shoulders are bright red so I try to keep them out of the sun as much as possible. The tights I wear quite simply because I really don't like showing my legs.

Dress: Hell Bunny
Underskirt: Second hand from Joshua's mum
Boots: Doc. Martens
Shrug: Coolcat
Tights: No idea, I think I got them from my mum
Necklace: Present from Joshua
Bag: Mr. Joe Black's webshop
Sunglasses: No idea

I hope everyone's enjoying their holidays!

  2. I am so jealous of your having seen the Cure live. I was considering perhaps going to Pinkpop, just to see them, but eventually the costs for the tickets were too high and I decided to try and see them on an other occasion.
I also really like the dress, I think it's super cute on you ^^

    1. If it's a comfort, they weren't *that* great. It was great to hear all those songs live of course, they played very well and Robert's voice sounded great, but it was not a very special show or anything, just the band doing their thing.
      And thank you!

    1. Aww, thank you! It definitely is, it's so odd to have some time to myself instead of having to study all day.
